Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) planned for MK in 2023
Residents in Milton Keynes are set to benefit from quicker access to tests, checks and scans as two new CDCs are set to open in our area later this year.
The approved sites are:
- Lloyds Court (Milton Keynes)
- Whitehouse Health Centre (Milton Keynes)
The CDCs will house a range of equipment including MRI, CT, X-ray and ultrasound scanners. Patient care services will include blood tests, heart rhythm and blood pressure monitoring.
In total, 19 new centres have been approved across the country, including Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Dorset.
Once referred by a GP, pharmacist or hospital, you'll be able to visit one of these CDCs to get any concerning symptoms checked out.
