Changes to Community Dermatology service for MK residents

If you use the community dermatology service in Milton Keynes, there have been a few changes to the service.

The Community Dermatology Service in Milton Keynes provides assessment and treatment, advice and support for a wide range of skin (dermatological) conditions. 

As of 1 January 2025, dermatology services are now provided by Stony Stratford Dermatology Primary Care Outpatient Clinic. This is a GP-led Specialist Interest Dermatology Clinic in Stony Stratford. 

if you are a dermatology patient, your appointment will now be at:

Watling Street Practice, Kensington Drive, Great Holm, Milton Keynes, MK8 9HN

Occasionally, patients may be asked to attend either of these other Watling St practice sites: 

Burchard Crescent, Shenley Church End, Stony Stratford
The Health Centre, Market Square, Stony Stratford, MK11 1YA 

If you are already a dermatology patient, they will contact you about changes to your appointments and appointment location. 

There is no change to the way patients are referred to the service, via their GP practice. 

What are the benefits of this change to residents?

Patients will receive support from an integrated, multi-professional team, including specially-trained GPs and nurses.  

Patients won't need special referrals into the dermatology service.
