We're winners at the national Healthwatch Impact Awards!

The Impact Awards highlight outstanding examples of where the views and experiences of local people has been used by their local Healthwatch to make care better.
In total, 18 projects were shortlisted across England, so to come out as winners against some really impressive contenders is testament to the hard work of everyone involved in this project.
Maxine Taffetani, Chief Executive Officer commented:
“We are incredibly proud to win this award. We’d like to recognise the vulnerable women who trusted us with their experiences. Their honest feedback was instrumental in the recommendations we made for change. We’re also grateful to Central North West London for being so open to receiving feedback from patients, and committed to acting on it.”
Jo Rance RN MSc, Head of Nursing, Mental Health Services said:
“We have truly loved working with you at the Campbell Centre. Being able to get transparent, candid and instant feedback has been invaluable in our commitment to quality. We're on the right path in our journey ahead, and seeing the impact we've already made gives us the motivation to keep going."
Our heartfelt thanks go to the team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. We wouldn’t have made an impact if they hadn’t been so open to receiving feedback from patients, and acting on it. Their staff showed genuine commitment to improving the lives of women on the Willow Ward.
Most importantly, a huge thankyou to the women on Willow Ward who trusted us with their experiences. Their honesty was instrumental in the recommendations we made for change.

More about the Healthwatch Impact Awards
The annual awards celebrate the difference local people make to health and social care services by sharing their feedback with local Healthwatch across England.
The projects submitted ranged from an initiative to improve access to social care to work to ensure more people get health checks.
The quality of the work was so high this year, that for the first time, the judging panel named us as one of two overall winners.
